I'll be the first to admit that I'm horrible at remembering that I have a blog, let alone remembering to update it. A lot has happened since my last post, so I will do my best to get you all up to date with out getting off track(no pun intended).

Racing-So I sold, I mean traded, my minisprint for an "asphalt modified". We thought it was going to be a quick once over on the car, buy a motor, and go racing. YA RIGHT!!! After a closer review, I traded for a dirt modified that was half assed converted to asphalt. I have now had the car to almost a bare chassis. Remounted almost everything from the seat back. Spent countless hours figuring out the front end geometry and getting located properly. Redesigning the interior, etc, etc, etc. And it still doesn't roll. I still need to find some money for a few suspension pieces and then it will back to the same stage as it was when I got it, but as a true asphalt car this time. Hopefully by next season I can get it together and get behind the wheel again.

Work-WOW, is 'bout all I can say. I have slowly stepped out of a light duty tow truck and have jumped head first into the heavy tow truck life. It has been a crazy learning curve going from a class D license and towing cars, to a class A license and towing tractor/trailers and everything in between. And doing all of that while still being the fleet manager and the truck maintenance "go to guy". Please don't take this as me complaining as it is just the opposite. I absolutely love every aspect of my job and wouldn't trade it for anything. Being in the heavy wrecker has actually allowed me to take a little more time off to spend at home with the family.

Life-Everybody has been doing great. Lee is having a blast selling slumber parties and enjoying all the new friend she (we) have made as a result. We are getting excited for our trip to Las Vegas in October to go watch the NASCAR Camping World Truck series and the INDYCAR series at LVMS. Mom and Dad Leazer have been doing good with little fluctuation in their health, for a change. Shawn found a job and is learning how to lay asphalt. Mom and Dad Hardman are plugging away and enjoying their new toy, a '91 IROC Camaro convertible.

Anything else-I'm sure there is plenty of other things that I'm forgetting or leaving out, but that's what happens when you only post "once a year". I have many racing, work, and life pictures posted on facebook that are updated almost weekly. In the begining I used this blog to update the world about scottie25.com motorsports. Well it seems that scottie25.com motorsports has dissolved away, so now I think I will just use it for random thoughts, feelings and stories; as long as I don't have to say any "hail mary's".

Life in general is good. I'm loving my job as a professional tow operator for Speedy Towing. I have advanced into the semi truck wreckers part time and enjoy the time I put in as our fleet manager.

Lee is enjoying being at work again after a long layover without work. Her ankle is "mostly" better and back to normal.

I'm going to try and post at least once a month and hope to follow as many of my family and friends as I can that also blog.

Hey ya'll, Scottie here. I know its been a while since my last post, and I apologize. Life has been a crazy one this year. We have had a great race season so far this year. I have logged three main event wins, One trophy dash win, and all but two races I have finished in the top five! The plans I had mentioned on my previous posts have fallen through, but we have decided to sell the minisprints and buy asphalt V8 racecars for the 2009 season. It should be fun to move on and learn something new. I really enjoy and appreciate all the comments you have left so keep 'em coming. Until next time, GO FAST TURN LEFT!!!!!

Scottie here. This has been an up and down year, but for the most part it has been a really fun year. There are some great things in the works (sorry, I cant spill the beans just yet) that will keep the whole scottie25 crew hoppin all year. I am currently workin on getting a disscusion board put on the web site. I think it will work out better than this blog. It will enable anybody to start a new topic. The only down side is you will have to register, but it will be free. Thanks again for all your support!
